So...it's been a while huh, guys? First things first I am still alive.
I can't think up any fancy excuse why I've been missing in action for more than a year, other than the simple fact that this website is called Drifter Journals because I have this crazy habit of drifting. To answer the above question, where in the world am I, I am here...Sagay Town, Camiguin Island, Mindanao, Philippines. A tiny blip on the map, but it's the place I call home for now.
Sagay Town is the center of native Camiguignon culture on the island. The old language is still spoken here in Sagay, as opposed to the more popular Cebuano language spoken throughout most of the island.
Life here is pretty simple. It's one of the smaller towns on the island, literally on the opposite end from the main town of Mambajao, and equally as far in pace, language and culture.

Whether you want a warm, beach vacation; a snowy, skiing experience; or a thrilling, rollercoaster extravaganza, the United States can offer up vacation destinations for everyone (no matter how picky they are).
